“Atton… what are you doing?”
The pilot kept to the shadows. His yellow eyes flashed like a rodent as they shot toward Bao-Dur. The Iradorian tech was standing a few meters off, watching him with a wary eye. Plans shot to hell, Atton pretended to hook his thumbs in his belt so he could stow his knife. He shrugged one shoulder casually enough.
“Thought I saw something shimmer, like a stealth field generator,” he lied smoothly. “Wouldn’t be the first time a S

Three Sith Lords… Hunger, Pain and Betrayal…
His conversation with Dessida had made sleep impossible for Canderous. He was lying still in his cot, eyes closed, but his mind was whirling with possibilities. Why hadn’t he considered that he was now fighting the same threat Revan originally feared?
The truth of it was pitiful.
However noble and self-sacrificing it had been of her to leave him, he had resented her for it. Whatever it was, it certainly couldn’t have mattered mo

“The call of Korriban is strong… but it is the call of the dead.”
Kreia’s words kept whispering in Canderous’ ear. When she first spoke them, he’d ignored her. He’d been to this cursed world before, and its bleak desolation hadn’t affected him in the least. He expected this visit would be no different, but he was wrong.
He wasn’t afraid…. Just uneasy. It was the statues, he decided. They were withered, weather-beaten carvings of the long

Cast in darkness, vaguely aware of jagged mountains and seething fog. Lightning flickered constantly across the sky. The low rumble of thunder in the distance was more like a growl rising from the core of this evil planet plagued by death and chaos.
It was torturous to be here, but there was no way out. There was no help coming. Hope was a candle slowly burning out.
It was a mistake to come here...
“Unlock Navicomputer, Code Alpha-Two-Nine.”
That voice. Just a few words from that unmistaka

“Is that the best you got? Nar dralshy'a!” Try harder.
In the few short days since Mandalore had joined their crew, Atton Rand had learned to accept the fact that there would almost always be a ruckus coming from the cargo hold. Shouts and jeers, grunts of pain, dull thuds of landing blows: they were now just a part of the background noise, like the ticking of the hyperspace drive.
Of course, it had been pretty annoying at first, but hey, if Mandalore's combat lessons were helping Dessida, t

'Do you wonder where she wanders now, Mandalore? Why she gave you your orders and abandoned you for the edge at the galaxy...?'
The trip to Iziz wasn't exactly going to plan. The contact that was supposed to lead Dessida to her missing Jedi had been arrested on suspicion of murder. In order to speak with him, Mandalore and Dessida first had to prove his innocence. All the while they ran back and forth between the crime scene, pieces of evidence and the eyewitnesses, they were hounded by General Vaklu's

The singular moment that he laid eyes on her seemed to stretch out into eternity. He couldn't make sense of it. She was a Jedi, she was the proper age, she flew the right ship, wielded the same sort of weapon, and yet this girl was not his wife.
He had been bracing himself for a reunion: he was ready either to reconcile with Revan, or else to say his final goodbyes and have closure. Nothing prepared him for this... This sweet-faced girl that had Revan's ship and Revan's droids, but no idea where Revan he

Of all the worlds that Canderous Ordo had ever known, Ilum might have been the most beautiful. He gazed in breathless wonder at the entire galaxy sparkling overhead: clusters of stars shimmering in clouds of blue stardust. Half a dozen small moons hung above the planet like floating lanterns that made the ice mountains sparkle.
The view was breathtaking, but it was painfully cold. Each frigid breath reminded Canderous of a wild summer fighting Cathar on the Outer Rim when he'd punctured a lung. He

Canderous Ordo had spent the day gathering salvagable parts in hopes of repairing the hyperdrive. To do that, he had to hide from Rancor and inch around grenades that were so complex he could barely detect their presence, but he had done it. As the blood-red sun was setting behind the glassy waters, he made his way back to the beach with a satchel over his shoulder full of odd bits and ends, some rusty, some caked in sand, but most of it properly servicable.

Twilight was falling on the Rakatan world. Those clear, azure skies began to darken. Each white-capped wave the raced the beach tread a little further before shrinking back. They broke violently, hissing and spitting on the rocks. The enormous moon that had been timid and half-hidden in the atmosphere all day at last unveiled her silvery glory.
Though the water was chilling him to the bone, Canderous Ordo stood in the surf, feeling the sea try to sway him one way or the other. All the while, he stood upright and re
